CALLAO CHRISTIAN CHURCH

We are a New Testament church, independent of any denomination, consisting of a completely volunteer membership. By the grace of God we are self-sustaining, debt-free, serving out God's purpose as a peaceful and joyful church. We would love for you to join us. 

We are elder-led. Our elders are Virgil Harris, Jim Willis, Scott Coleman, and Rick Gann.  You can read about elders in the Bible in Acts 20:17-35, 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4. 

Our staff: Josh Stucki (Senior Minister), Jake Levett (Associate Minister), Zach Harris (Youth Minister), Jaycee Christensen (Director of Nursery & Young Women), and Madi Harris (Church Secretary & Custodian).

We have deacons who act as designated, leader-helpers in the church. Our deacons are Brian Coleman, Chad Thurnau, Justin Compton, Nick Kearns, Jeffrey Willis, Mickey Shipp and Bob Gress. You can read about deacons in the Bible in 1 Timothy 3:8-10, 12. 

If a person has already been immersed into Christ for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-4; Colossians 2:12), they are automatically a member of Callao Christian Church when they fellowship and serve with us. Although some choose to come forward and join the church publicly, there is no requirement to do so (as there is no requirement to do so in Scripture).

We also offer some unique ministries: preaching classes for boys and men starting at age 8, an in-house literature ministry, and a weekly carry-in dinner and Bible study every Tuesday at noon.
